Located just west of the Inner Loop, just north of the Galleria Area, adjacent to Beltway 8 on the west, and adjacent to Interstate 10 on the north, the Memorial Area offers the best of all worlds. The Galleria Real Estate Area is the area surrounding the exclusive Houston Galleria (Mall) in the Uptown District of Houston, one of the largest business districts in the U.S. It is located in the high traffic and highly desirable area near the junction of Highway 59, Loop 610, Post Oak Boulevard, and Westheimer.
The Houston Galleria is an upscale mixed use development consisting of the Financial Center, two office towers, two hotels, a private health club, and over 375 retail stores. The Galleria, the largest mall in Texas and the seventh largest mall in the U.S., is one of the top tourist attractions in Texas with more than 4 million visitors per year. The housing in the Galleria Real Estate Area is primarily upscale single family homes priced at $700k and up, luxury highrise condos starting in the $300k’s for smaller 1-2 bedroom units to more than $2 million for penthouse suites, and 2 or 3 story upscale patio homes starting at about $450k and up.
